Our Story

My name is Julie Rhodes. I live in the small town of Baconton, Ga. I am a wife, mama of three and goat farmer. I stumbled across goat milk soap many years ago. After just one use I was hooked. The healing effects of goats' milk is absolutely amazing. I bought my soap from a local woman who handmade it herself. After a few years, she got sick and couldn't continue to do so. I was heartbroken. I tried different types and brands of goat milk soaps and it just wasn't the same. So, I took a big leap and decided I was going to try to make it myself. Little did I know, that decision would create a whole new world for me. After many trials and errors, I eventually learned what worked and what didn't. I finally created a bar of soap that not only I loved but so many others did too. I decided to take another fearful leap and attempted to create a small business. I can't tell y'all how hard that was, especially, during covid and the price increases on just about everything! There were times that I felt like giving up. That's when I learned what "true grit" was. You're going to get knocked down, you're going to struggle but as long as you get back up and continue to reach your goal, that's where your true strength really shows. Although I love my products very much, they are not my only goal. I want to help people with natural skincare products but I also want to help them with self-care too. Ever since I was a child, whenever , I was sick, had a bad day or just mentally drained, the bathtub was my go-to place. It is my serenity. Even if only to decompress  for fifteen minutes. Mental Health issues are higher than they have ever been. Making time to practice self care is an necessity. It is just as important as going to the doctor. Today, our world requires that we give every bit of ourselves in order to maintain our jobs, our children, our spouses, finances, etc. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, we fall short and become so very overwhelmed. I promise, you are not alone in those feelings. What I know, is that we can't give our jobs, our loved ones or our responsibilities 100% if we are not at 100%. We must practice self-care, in order to be at our best. My products are small batched, farm fresh and handmade with lots of love. Most importantly, it helps open the door to your self-care. I believe God has a purpose for all his children and I do believe this is the one He has given me. Thank you for allowing me to help your body and mind find the peace it deserves.

With Lots Of Love, Julie Rhodes
